TRAVEL

Snaps from just bringing too many cameras with me everywhere I go..

I take wayyy too many photos. I also travel with friends, family, and for work. This collection is just snaps from fun events that I took that are not large enough to be within their own collections! Enjoy the ~assemblage~

IMMERSIVE VAN GOGH EXHIBIT CHARLOTTE, NC

In June 2021, I had the amazing opportunity to experience the traveling Immersive Van Gogh exhibit. The photos taken by me during the duration of the experience can be seen below. Although they do not do justice to what we got to see in person, they still turned out nicely.

RENWICK GALLERY, DC

In 2018, my mom and I took a trip down to DC to explore and check out some museums (one of my favorite things to do). The Smithsonian Renwick Gallery had a temporary exhibit for various installations and artworks that would be used later that summer at the Burning Man Festival. The art pieces were amazing, and it was neat to learn more about the culture and policies surrounding the annual music and arts festival. (DC, Summer 2018; Nikon D3400)

RED ROCKS AMPHITHEATER, CO

Prior to the Covid-19 Pandemic my friends and I scheduled a cross-country drive to Colorado to do some skiing. Surprisingly, the trip was not cancelled, and while we waited for confirmation that they had received our negative tests, we checked out the surrounding area and I snapped a few pics. I did not bring my camera onto the slopes (thank god, because I would have shattered every component inside of it) but I did get these pictures while it was clear out from the Red Rock Amphitheater. OCCONEECHEE MOUNTAIN

While living with my parents for the brief time in between undergrad and graduate school, I went on a little hike with mom at Occoneechee State Mountain area in Hillsborough, NC. It was quite a bit smaller than the mountain that I saw constantly during undergrad, but it was still fun to get to get outside and do some hiking and exploring. The tiny mountain was also beautiful, and it was very cool to check out the controlled burning that had recently been done at it. (Occoneechee State Mountain Recreation Area, NC; 2021)

VEHICLE SHOOTING

Although it is not so much a travel experience, I do enjoy photographing cars from time to time. Recently, I was loaned a 2021 10-speed Mustang while my car was in the shop. I obviously had to take advantage of the opportunity to do some car photography while I was using it..
